Welcome to Kathmandu! Upon arrival at the airport, our team will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax or explore the lively Thamel area. Trip briefing in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Kathmandu’s cultural highlights. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath. These sacred sites offer a deep introduction to Nepal’s spiritual heritage. Overnight in Kathmandu.
A spectacular Himalayan flight brings you to Lhasa. Upon arrival, meet your Tibetan guide and transfer to your hotel. Rest and acclimatize to the altitude. Overnight in Lhasa.
Visit the iconic Potala Palace, followed by Jokhang Temple. Walk around Barkhor Square and observe pilgrims performing kora. Overnight in Lhasa.
Explore Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery. Witness the famous monk debating sessions. Overnight in Lhasa.
Drive via Kampa-la Pass and enjoy breathtaking views of Yamdrok Lake. Continue via Gyantse, visiting Pelkor Chode Monastery and Kumbum Stupa. Overnight in Shigatse.
Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, then drive to Sakya and explore the unique Sakya Monastery. Overnight in Sakya.
A major highlight day as you approach Mount Everest from the north side. Cross high passes and enjoy panoramic Himalayan views. Visit Rongbuk Monastery, the highest monastery in the world. Overnight at guesthouse/tent near Everest Base Camp.
Enjoy sunrise views over Everest if weather permits. Drive toward Kyirong, descending from the Tibetan Plateau into greener landscapes near the Nepal border. Overnight in Kyirong.
After breakfast, drive to the border and complete immigration formalities. Continue the journey back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Evening at leisure.
