Day-by-Day Itinerary

Arrive at Paro by air, enjoying one of the most scenic Himalayan flights with stunning mountain views. After immigration, meet your guide and drive to Thimphu. En route, stop at Chuzom, where three different styles of stupas (Tibetan, Nepalese, and Bhutanese) stand side by side. On arrival in Thimphu, check in to your hotel. Later visit Buddha Dordenma for panoramic valley views, followed by Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s government and monastic body. In the evening, stroll through the local market and craft bazaar. Overnight in Thimphu (2,400 m).

Meals: BLD

After breakfast, drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,080 m), offering spectacular Himalayan views and 108 chortens. Visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of two rivers. Later, take a short walk to Chimi Lhakhang, a peaceful temple set amid rice fields and local villages. In the evening, drive back to Paro. Overnight in Paro.

After breakfast, hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (approx. 5 hours round trip). Perched dramatically on a cliff, this sacred site is one of Bhutan’s most revered landmarks. After the hike, relax and enjoy the serene surroundings of Paro Valley. Overnight in Paro.
